The Heartbeat Of Facebook: LikeLine
LG Netherlands teamed up with social marketing agency SocialMedia8 and now introduces the LGLikeLine.
A facebook application that enables users to create a visual overview of their Like-history and show exactly what the user is like and what he or she likes. The application also lets people find Like-Minded peers.

SocialMedia8 developed the concept that launched this week. With LikeLine users are able to find out what they’ve liked since they’re on facebook. And accordingly this ‘likes-overview’ will show exactly what things make life good.
Creating the LikeLine
SocialMedia8 set -up simple rules on how to behave in the approach and communications:
– LG has a Facebook Page; choose that as the epic centre
– Single-Minded Messaging; no tech talk, less is more
– Target Facebook Members; they are already there
– Be innovative or stunning
– Stay close to Life’s Good (brandvalues LG)
Targeting your audience
In general men want status and competition: ‘mine is bigger than yours, I bet you can not beat my score, look how cool I am…’ and women usually have an intrinsic drive to compare and to selfexplore; they are curious social creatures who love to chat.
