Statistic Video: The State Of The Internet
This video has crossed my eyes several times when checking out my RSS reader for fresh content for ViralBlog. Even though I dislike publishing content that has been posted elsewhere, I couldn’t help it writing about this remarkable video on ViralBlog.

We’ve all know video’s like the “Did you know” series and Social Media Revolution. However, in the speeding train of technology and social media, these numbers aren’t up to date anymore, a week after publishing the video. That’s why fresh and new videos deserve the attention.
Online Population
The population of internet users worldwide keeps on growing. As we speak, there are about 1.73 billion internet users worldwide.

Facebook Growth
Facebook keeps on growing as well. A tremendous amount of 30.000 servers are necessary to serve the 350+ million users their own and their friends’ pages.

Amount of Tweets
Twitter does great as well. In November, Twitter clocked the huge amount of an average of 27.300.000 tweets a day.

Other statistics from the video:
- There are 1.4 billion e-mail users worldwide, and on average we collectively send 247 billion e-mails per day. Unfortunately 200 billion of those are spam e-mails.
- As of December 2009, there are 234 million websites.
- Facebook gets 260 billion pageviews per month, which equals 6 million page views per minute and 37.4 trillion pageviews in a year.
