Chicane’s Viral – Come Back And Stay For Good

The music industry is getting a hang on online social leverages. In January, I wrote about the way C-Mon and Kypksi crowd sourced a videoclip (C-Mon & Kypski Crowdsource A Videoclip). This time I’d like to write about a great viral video from Chicane.

Last week I stumbled several times upon this remarkable video. In this video, the main figures claims he’s singing, dancing and traveling around the world in order to gain attention of the love of his live. Turns out, this call for love is actually a clever viral from Chicane.

Why Abortion Tweets Cause Death Threats?!

The 27-year-old Angie Jackson from Tampa USA, said nothing is off-limits on Twitter, not even the details of her abortion. Her tweets were meant to help other women. But when her actions caught massive attention, she encountered a stream of fanatic criticisms and a handful of death threats.

On ABC News, Jackson admitted being called a “whore” who “can’t keep her legs closed,” and has also been sent Bible verses by anti-abortion rights activists. See more on Jackson’s Blog called Angie The Anti-Theist.

Whatever you think or feel about Jackson’s actions, she does not seem to be a very bad copywriter, based on the title of her blog?

Social Media Graphics

The social media space is growing so fast it is hard to keep track of the latest statistics, even for us who are working from the trenches on a daily basis. Take a look at this latest graph of Twitter’s growth for example:

What’s interesting about this particular piece of data is that it focuses on usage, rather than the number of members – which can be a misleading statistic. After all, members are pretty useless unless they actually actively use a service or platform like Twitter.

Google Goes Social With Google Buzz

Adidas Campaign Featuring Interactive Video

Adidas Basketball recently launched a new campaign featuring several famous basketball players in their “It’s On Me For My Brotherhood” campaign. The YouTube channel has been redesigned to have the look and feel of the campaign and features basketball player Dwight Howard.

Instead of seeding normal video assets, Adidas chose to let all the interaction take place on YouTube itself with interactive videos.
