Last Thursday Samsung Mobile launched their new Facebook campaign in The Netherlands to promote the much talked about Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Taking part in the competition can be really rewarding, since Samsung Mobile is giving away a Galaxy Tab 10.1 every day, for 20 days in a row.
The Facebook campaign is called IT’S TABTIME and has a straightforward concept, a virtual wheel of fortune. By taking part, you enter the virtual wheel of fortune and if your Facebook profilefoto is in the Tab at exactly 21.00 o’clock, then you have won the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It only takes 4 clicks to take part in the competition. Making it accessible and low risk for consumers.
Samsung Mobile build up the online tension prior to the launch of IT’S TABTIME. By announcing the day and eventualy the time of the lanch, they made sure that more than a 1000 fans showed their commited to Samsung Mobile on Facebook at 10.1pm on the day of launch. It looked like a virtual queue. Since the launch the Samsung Mobile Facebook fanbase has grown from a little over 40.000 fans to 44.000 (2 days) without media. Lets see where they stand after 20 days.
