1. Future Of Screen Technology
The Astonishing Tribe, TAT, is a Swedish software technology and design company. In the above “experience video” they show a normal day in a couple of years when new screen technologies are affordable enough to be used everywhere. More information on the project can be found on TAT’s blog. In 9 days the video got viewed almost 850,000 times and featured on influential sites like Gizmodo.
2. Samsung Galaxy Tab
With the introduction of the iPad we’ve all seen the possibilities of a tablet. And now Samsung introduce their iPad rival, the Galaxy Tab. Smaller, easier to hold and running on Android. Will the Galaxy Tab be a serious alternative to the iPad? The official commercial video got almost 600,000 views in little over a week.
3. Kevin Butler’s Epic PlayStation Move-tage
This video about the PlayStation Move shows pretty much everything you can do with, well, the PlayStation Move. Though the principle looks a lot like the Nintendo Wii, the type of game that is played (at least in the video) is a lot more aggressive. Kevin Butler shows what games can be played and apologizes for the console being that incredibly awesome. Well, I guess we will have to see that for ourselves. Unfortunately the URL in the description is dead, this one isn’t. The video has been viewed 465,497 times in just over a week.
4. Gmail Priority Inbox
According to Google “email is great, except when there’s too much of it.” So they came up with a solution for Gmail. Priority Inbox automatically identifies important email and separates it from the rest, so you can focus on what really matters. Although it’s live since July, the Priority Inbox introduction video got viewed over 700,000 times in 10 days. More info on the Gmail blog.
5. MINI Countryman: Flow
The MINI Countryman is a new car model by MINI that positions itself to be as adaptable to life in the city as life in the country. To get this point across in the video the MINI takes the streets of Milan where the car multiplies itself, taking “ALL possible routes from point A to point B — at the same time” as stated on the MINI blog. Amsterdam agency BSUR is responsible for the computer generated commercial, they also released some cool behind the scenes material. This video has been viewed almost 250,000 times within 10 days.
