This weeks Viral Friday #1 position goes to Guys Backflip into Jeans. Last year Ray-Ban’s viral “Guy catches glasses with face” became a huge internet success. Now we see a very similar video for Levi’s Jeans (according to Gawker). The runner up spot is for Humanitainment.com with The Empire Strikes Barack. Two weeks ago Humanitainment.com scored a Viral Friday top 3 ranking with their YouTube hit “Baracky: The Movie”, and now they do it again with “The Empire Strikes Barack”. Shark Surfer completes this week’s top 3. In the video, presumably for sun glasses brand Notorious, we see a surfer going out surfing with a white shark.

The runner up spot is for Britain’s Got Talent: Michael Jackson. Opera singer Paul Potts became an internet meme thanks to Britain’s Got Talent and YouTube, will Michael Jackson imitator Suleman Mirza follow in his footsteps? Shortsbus.com completes this week’s top 3 with Trapped in an Elevator with Diarrhea. A funny parody to last week’s #1 position “Trapped in an Elevator for 41 Hours”.

The runner up spot is for Nokia’s Human Snake. Farfar and Hobbyfilm created the innovative “Get Out and Play” campaign to promote Nokia’s game console N-Gage. Humanitainment.com completes this week’s top 3 with Baracky: The Movie. Hillary Clinton had to score big in Pennsylvania, and did. But can she win from Baracky…

To promote the new Nike Hyperdunk shoe Nike made a viral video in which Kobe Bryant jumps over a speeding Aston Martin. The runner up spot is for Sony’s Foam City. After a lot of buzz on Flickr, YouTube, Technorati and Twitter, Fallon London finally launched the new Sony Bravia commercial last week. Excitechina.com.cn completes this week’s top 3 with Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles. A radio-controlled car, beer bottles and the Super Mario tune are the ingredients of this viral video for the Chinese entertainment site.

This weeks Viral Friday #1 position goes to Runawaybox.com with Ooh Girl! - An Honest R&B Song. Santa Monica based Runawaybox.com mainly produces its own content with their team. Their most successful video is a spoof of all R&B songs. The video got over 3 million views in just three weeks time. The runner up spot is for Hillary, Be My Best Friend. YouTube personality Venetian Princess from Boston joins Obama Girls battle with her political music video. I’m F*cking Obama completes this week’s top 3. Hugh and Jez Atkin created a hilarious spoof of Sarah Silverman’s I’m F*cking Matt Damon.

On April Fools day YouTube Rick Rolled its users by linking all of the featured videos to the Rick Astley video, resulting in over 9 million views. The runner up spot is for Exotic World Gifts with Elephant Paints Self Portrait. Online store Exotic World Gifts imports self portraits made by elephants. By selling their art they support these “Starving Elephant Artisans”. BBC’s Flying Penguins complete this week’s top 3. To promote BBC’s iPlayer Gorgeous and Passion Pictures created this April Fools joke video in which we see Terry Jones reporting from Antarctica about a unique colony of Adelie Penguins.

But CBS reporters traveling with her made no reference to any “sniper fire” at the time… So was she lying or did she tell the truth? The runner up spot is for Barely Political with Hillary! Stop the attacks! Love, Obama Girl. After a one month absence Amber Lee Ettinger, aka Obama Girl, is back with a new music video. The 29-year-old Valentina Hasan from Zvezdelina, Bulgaria became a real internet meme in the past month with her interpretation of Mariah Carey’s “Without You” in the television show “Music Idol”. The runner up spot is for Boston Dynamics with Big Dog. BigDog, the alpha male of the Boston Dynamics family of robots, is a quadruped robot that walks, runs, and climbs on rough terrain and carries heavy loads. Awareness Test completes this week’s top 3. London based agencies Gorgeous Enterprises and WCRS created an awareness campaign for Transport for London.

Last week the passengers of an Airbus A320 escaped disaster when the the airplane they were in got caught in a fierce crosswind and almost crashed. Luckily the co-pilot managed to control the airplane and make a go-around. The runner up spot is for Jack Nicholson with Jack and Hill. The online video through which Hollywood star Jack Nicholson has tendered his support to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign has become a huge hit. Kanye Hands completes this week’s top 3. Since 2001 a true craze originated around “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”, a track by the French electronic music collaboration Daft Punk. After several user generated clips featuring the song YouTube duo Barats & Bereta score a huge hit with this video.
