The most popular viral video of this week are the dancing inmates of the Cebu Provicial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Filipines. The runner up spot is for Kia Soul Rock. South Korean car manufacturer Kia launched a viral video to promote their new car, the Kia Soul! MacBook Transforms Into Mini Jet completes this week’s top 3. A surprising entry on ViralFriday from an unexpected corner. LaPoste, the French postal service, launched a video with a transforming MacBook and then aiming for conversion to laposte.fr/lre.

The runner up spot is for JibJab with He’s Barack Obama. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Barack Obama and he has come to save the day! Banksy Versus Bristol Museum completes this week’s top 3. British graffiti artist Banksy obtained fame with his social critical art. After years of exhibiting his art in forbidden public places he now for the first time shows his works in a museum: Banksy vs Bristol Museum.

The runner up spot is for The Portobello Mushroom Burger. Popular YouTube celebrities Nigahaga and Smosh created their own version of Carl’s Jr. Portobello Mushroom Burger commercial. DEADLINE Post-It Stop Motion completes this week’s top 3. Taiwanese student Bang-Yao Liu created a fabulous stop-motion video about everyone’s day struggle: the fight with post-it notes and deadlines.

The runner up spot is for the literal version of Microsoft: Project Natal. Has Microsoft finally found a way to stop the seeming unstoppable growth of Nintendo’s Wii? With the introduction of Project Natal on the Los Angeles E3 Expo it seems the next step is made. Remi Gaillard: Foot 2009 completes this week’s top 3. We’ve seen Remi Gaillard a couple of times in Viral Friday with his funny prankster videos, but we didn’t know he was such a great football player!

Clare Werbeloff saw a shooting outside a strip club in the early hours of last Sunday morning in Sydney, Australia, and became an internet meme… The runner up spot is for the literal version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart. Making fun of music videos is the latest YouTube hit and it’s called making a “literal version” of the music video: sing what you see in the video. Gillette’s How To Shave Your Groin completes this week’s top 3. “Trimming the bush to make the tree look taller.” It’s one of the phrases Gillette uses in their latest online advertising campaign encouraging men to use their products in body shaving.

This weeks Viral Friday #1 position goes, once more, to Susan Boyle. Susan got on stage again on the Britain’s Got Talent show with a version of the song “Memory” from the musical “Cats”. The runner up spot is for The Worst Job Ever. The credit crunch causes people to loose their jobs, and those who still have theirs are mostly very happy. Not in Brazil though… Sebastian’s Voodoo completes this week’s top 3. This short film, made by Joaquin Baldwin - an Annie Award nominee director and animator from Paraguay, living in Los Angeles, won first price in the Online Short Film Competition, presented by the National Film Board of Canada.

The runner up spot is for Air New Zealand: Nothing To Hide. Air New Zealand has nothing to hide. That is why their cabin crew stripped off for a raunchy new advertisement where they carry out their duties wearing nothing more than body paint. Super Slo-mo Surfer completes this week’s top 3. The BBC is known for their stunning documentaries. For their new one, called “South Pacific”, they grabbed their $ 100,000 TyphoonHD4 camera and dropped it in the ocean.

This weeks Viral Friday #1 position goes to Greg Pritchard’s Got Talent. So here we are again; another week, another Viral Friday, another Britain’s Got Talent video. His name is Greg Pritchard: he looks like a punk rocker, hates his job as a hotel waiter and describes himself as a “male soprano”. The runner up spot is for Make The Girl Dance: Baby Baby Baby. “Make The Girl Dance”, a French electro group, knew exactly what they wanted for they song called “Baby Baby Baby”: major publicity. This is the result. Mother Lover completes this week’s top 3. Last Sunday was Mother’s Day, so Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg did a special skit for all the mothers on Saturday Night Live.

College Humor keep scoring with their Original Videos, this is their latest. I-Movix SprintCam Showreel completes this week’s top 3. Slow motion footage is a real treat to the eye, especially if it’s in full HD. This one consists of 1000fps and 2500fps shots.
